Early warning signs

A post by Calvin listed evidence, pro and con, whether he might be gay. I stopped reading after "glitter lotion." That told me all I needed to know.

Then, while responding to a post by Playasinmar a repressed memory flooded back into my consciousness. This is even worse than glitter lotion:

I was the ward chorister through all of my high school years.

Now I understand why things turned out the way they did.

There's another good list over here.

I was chorister in the MTC.

Shower time was unbelievably awkward. I was there when the "Tree of Life" was still in use. We decided we should re-name it the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil".

Oh, the awkward.

Ah, I still remember those showers in the MTC. I still have vivid memories of several particularly well-formed companions.

Oddly, I never found it awkward.

Well, let's just say that I was/am less than adept at controlling certain physical responses.

I tended to use the single private shower as often as possible.

Yeah.

Awkward.

Oh, too funny. Can't say I've ever looked into glittery lotion much. I'll have to do so.
